The Level 3A Soft Armor Ballistic Shield is designed to stop all handguns. It holds an NIJ Level 3A Certification, indicating that it can effectively halt .357 Sig FMJ FN (Flat Nose) bullets traveling at a velocity of approximately 1470 ft/s and .44 Magnum SJHP (Semi Jacketed Hollow Point) rounds at a velocity of 1430 ft/s. This shield plate is constructed from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, offering strength and durability. Another accessory available is the Rapid Response Medical Kit, which fits perfectly in the computer carrier of the First Responder backpack.
