Outside of his professional role, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife, Heidi, and their beloved pets. Rich has a passion for cooking for his family and relishes the great outdoors, particularly the Boundary Waters and the wildlife in his backyard.
  2. Heidi Barcum:Heidi Barcum serves as the Office Manager and co-owner of Cardinal Compliance Consultants. In her role, she manages the day-to-day operations of the office, which includes addressing client inquiries and concerns, overseeing training tracking, scheduling and rescheduling training, monitoring, and inspections. Heidi is also responsible for notifying and confirming these activities, as well as producing certificates and certification cards for completed training. A key aspect of her role is working alongside her husband, Rich Barcum, in various capacities. Heidi joined Cardinal in 2017 and brings over a decade of experience in property management and several years in the medical field. She finds great satisfaction in working with her husband and daughter Michaela, as well as with the team at Cardinal, whom she considers family. Heidi is particularly motivated by the knowledge that their work contributes to keeping people safe on the job. Outside of work, Heidi enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and their four cats. Her interests include listening to music, gardening, photography, reading, and observing wildlife such as birds, deer, geese, and ducks in her backyard. She also finds relaxation by her koi pond.
